Triple chocolate cookies – Rich and yummy!

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset

The other day I was browsing through Tanya Burr’s blog, a british youtuber that loves baking as much as I do, when I stumbled across the most intriguing chocolate cookie recipe ever. So this morning I’ve decided to try them out. These chocolate cookies are made with three different types of chocolate: white chocolate, dark chocolate and milk chocolate. In addittion to this lovely and chocolaty goodness, Tanya also uses cocoa powder to give extra flavour to these pure bites of heaven. Everyone has a favorite chocolate cookies recipe and this is definetly mine. I love this cookies so much that I can’t get enough of them. When you bite into them, you instantly taste the melted gooey chocolate that runs in your mouth and trust me, it tastes absolutely delicious. I must admit that these are not the prettiest cookies I have ever made but they are absolutely worth it.

I have to thank the lovely Tanya Burr for the recipe that you can find on her blog Tanya Burr. But now let’s get to the recipe!

Ingredients:

200g butter
300g caster sugar
1 large egg
275g self-raising flour
75g cocoa powder
a little dash of milk
a large bar of milk chocolate
a large bar of white chocolate
a large bar of dark chocolate
Method:
Turn on your oven at 200 C°. Cream together the butter and sugar. Stir in the flour and the cocoa powder.
Add a dash of milk if your mixture is looking dry.
Break up all of your chocolate and throw it in, using your hands to get it into the dough.
Line two trays with baking paper. Keep in mind that the cookies will spread in the oven so don’t place them close together.
Pick up a 10 small handfuls of cookie dough and place them onto the trays.
Cook them in the oven for 10 minutes.
When you get them out they will not look cookedit is vital you know this, as it will be very tempting to leave them in for longer and then they’ll be hard and overcooked once they are cool. Just take your cookies out after 11 minutes and leave them to cool for about 30 minutes.
I hope you guys will try this recipe out because honestly it is absolutely amazing!
XOXO

Francesca
