If you have never been to Milan you probably think of it as an industrial city with skyscrapers, high street stores and occasionally a few trees here and there. Well when I first got here that was exactly what I thought. However, if you dig a little deeper you will discover that a part from the stores, the events and the fashionistas there is so much more to this city but no one ever mantions it. First of all Milan is a city full of art. At every corner you can find a museum, an art exhibit or just a beautiful old building that shows you the real heart of the city. Secondly, Milan has a lot of parks! Yes you read that right! A part from Parco Sempione ( a huge park right in the center of the town, just behind the Castle) there are a lot of green areas where you can go and lay down, study or go for a jog.
A few days ago I’ve decided that I wanted to know more about this city and what it has to offer. So I grabbed my camera, took the subway and decided to get off only in places I had never visited before. Oh that was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I got off the subway and started walking towards this beautiful old builing. It turned out it was the Modern Art Gallery. This amazing building not only has an amazing art exhibit inside, with beautiful paintings and beautifully decorated rooms, but it also has a giant park on the back that makes you feel like you’ve just entered a secreat garden.
I had so much fun wandering around the park, and I also took a few pictures for you guys. As you can see Milan has a lot to offer, you just need to go out and discover it for your self. After my little trip to the secreat garden it was time for me to get back to reality. While I was on my way to the center, I stumbled across the new Zara Home store ( of course I had to mention a store in a nature themed post XD) OMG guys this time Zara absolutely blew my mind. The walls of the store are all covered in pretty and colorful flowers! It looks amazing. Well done Zara I am officially impressed.
Well guys I hope you’ve enjoyed my story. Now I’ll leave you with some pictures of my little adventurous (not so much) trip around the beautiful Milan. If you like this kind of posts I’ll definetly try to bring my camera out with me more often. You never know what you may find, right?
Have a nice day!
